چکیده
Reversible deformations of the 4D-printed structures are attractive and promising for various application fields. In this study, principle reversible bilayer structure consisting SMP elastic material is illustrated. By exploring influence printing parameters on deformation resistance, a low-cost with rational resistance distribution designed to realize deformation. Subsequently, employed design soft crawling robot asymmetrical variable friction coefficient feet. revealing locomotion by force analysis process analysis, wave-like strategy proposed actuate robot. Experiments verify effectiveness structures.

Design and control of a soft, shape-changing, crawling robot
Soft materials have many important roles in animal locomotion and object manipulation. In robotic applications soft materials can store and release energy, absorb impacts, increase compliance and increase the range of possible shape profiles using minimal actuators. The shape changing ability is also a potential tool to manipulate friction forces caused by contact with the environment. These ad...

abstract type-ii fuzzy logic has shown its superiority over traditional fuzzy logic when dealing with uncertainty. type-ii fuzzy logic controllers are however newer and more promising approaches that have been recently applied to various fields due to their significant contribution especially when the noise (as an important instance of uncertainty) emerges. during the design of type- i fuz...

Roboticists have begun to design biologically inspired robots with soft or partially soft bodies, which have the potential to be more robust and adaptable, and safer for human interaction, as compared to traditional rigid robots. However, key challenges in the design and manufacture of soft robots include the complex fabrication processes and the interfacing of soft and rigid components. We emp...

متن کاملGait control in a soft robot by sensing interactions with the environment using self-deformation
All animals use mechanosensors to help them move in complex and changing environments. With few exceptions, these sensors are embedded in soft tissues that deform in normal use such that sensory feedback results from the interaction of an animal with its environment. Useful information about the environment is expected to be embedded in the mechanical responses of the tissues during movements. ...
